This piece explores iterations and interpretations of the word ‘carbon’; from carbon copies to carbon footprint. It was painted during the International Public Art Festival in Salt River, Cape Town to remind the visitors of the cultural diversity in the neighbourhood.

This mural, painted by Claude Chandler, honors Siya Kolisi, the captain of the South African rugby team, and celebrates the Springboks' victory in the 2019 Rugby World Cup. The mural prominently features the phrase "Stronger Together," a mantra frequently used by Kolisi. By layering this text multiple times, Claude achieved a striking visual effect that resonates with the unity and strength embodied by the team.

In 2019, Claude Chandler was commissioned to create a Pan-African/Afrofuturism portrait for a music festival hosted at the iconic Spice Yard. The mural's colour palette of grey and yellow mimics the shipping containers that populate the landscape around the building. The image is composed of thousands of stenciled dots, inspired by the shadows and light cast by the scaffolding used during the mural's creation. This 'pixel' technique is a recurring theme in Claude's work, adding a unique, textured dimension to his art.

Claude Chandler was commissioned to paint the logo of 360 Specialized Training, incorporating his iconic stencil portrait style. The portrait featured the trainer and owner of the gym, and Claude used words and stamps like "strength," "tough," "work," and "power" to form the image, adding depth and meaning to the artwork.
